STDs are extremely common most sexually active men have had or currently have a communicable Sexually Transmitted Disease. Here is a list of the most common and most serious.

Chlamydia. Bacterial infection.

Symptoms:
Small amounts of clear or cloudy discharge from the tip of the penis.
Painful urination.
Burning and itching around the opening of the penis.
Pain and swelling around the testicles. 

It’s also possible to get a chlamydia infection in the anus. In this case, the main symptoms are often dischargepain, and bleeding from this area. Having oral sex with someone who has the infection raises the risk for getting chlamydia in the throat. Symptoms can include a sore throatcough, or fever

HPV AKA Genital Warts. Virus

Symptoms:
Genital warts may appear as a small bump, cluster of bumps, or stem-like protrusions. They commonly affect the penis or scrotum. They may also appear around the anus and in the groin. 

Spread vectors:
Spreads from penis to anus or anus to penis during anal sex, penis to throat or throat to penis during oral sex.
Treatment:
There is no known cure. Warts can be burned or frozen off, but may return.
Prevention:
There is a preventive vaccine.
Condoms during oral or anal sex can help but doesn’t stop gentle area contact and contamination can occur. 

Gonorrhea. Bacterial infection.

Symptoms:
About 50 percent of men with gonorrhea do not experience any symptoms at all. If symptoms do present themselves, it is often in the form of painful urination or a yellow or green tinted white discharge from the penis. Less common symptoms include itching or burning around the urethra. Other symptoms are often mild and unnoticeable.
An untreated gonorrhea infection can lead to serious complications like intense testicular or scrotal pain (epididymitis).

Hepatitis B. Virus.

Symptoms:
It can cause scarring of the liver organ, liver failure, and cancer. It can be fatal if it isn’t treated. It’s spread when people come in contact with the blood, open sores, or body fluids of someone who has the hepatitis B virus.

Spreads from penis to anus or anus to penis during anal sex, penis to throat or throat to penis during oral sex.
The virus is passed from person to person through blood, semen or other body fluids. It does not spread by sneezing or coughing.
Treatment:
There is no known cure.

Herpes. Virus.

There are two types of herpes simplex viruses: HSV-1 (herpes type 1, or oral herpes) and HSV-2 (herpes type 2, or genital herpes).
More than 50 percent of people in the United States have HSV-1.
Around 15.5 percent of people in the U.S. aged 14-49 have HSV-2.

Any membrane to skin or skin to skin contact is a possible transmission site.
Spreads from penis to anus or anus to penis during anal sex, penis to throat or throat to penis during oral sex.
The virus is passed from person to person through blood, semen or other body fluids. It does not spread by sneezing or coughing.
Treatment:
There is no known cure.
Prevention:
Condoms during oral or anal sex can help but doesn’t stop gentle area contact and contamination can occur. 

HIV & AIDS. Virus.

Symptoms:
The fever, usually one of the first symptoms of HIV, is often accompanied by other mild symptoms, such as fatigue, swollen lymph glands, and a sore throat. At this point the virus is moving into the blood stream and starting to replicate in large numbers. 

Spread vectors:
Any membrane to membrane contact is a possible transmission site.
Spreads from penis to anus or anus to penis during anal sex, penis to throat or throat to penis during oral sex.
The virus is passed from person to person through blood and semen. It does not spread by sneezing or coughing.
Treatment:
There is no known cure.
Prevention:
Condoms during oral or anal sex can prevent the majority of potential infections.

Candida AKA Yeast Infection. Fungal infection.

Symptoms:
Itching and reddness on the penis and less common symptoms include itching or burning around the urethra. Anal infection presents as Itching or burning in or on the rectum. Spread vectors:
Spreads from penis to anus or anus to penis during anal sex, penis to throat or throat to penis during oral sex. Use of dirty toys and unsanitary lube can cause infection. Treatment:
Antibiotics
